Spotlight On:

Spotlight On: Alyssa Braden

The agile busy bee.
Self-described in three words: Creative | Driven | Passionate

Alyssa got bit by the Zehnder bug four years ago during an encounter with our very own Ann Edelman. Five different advertising and public relations agencies spoke to her senior media management class at LSU about the industry, but Alyssa was absolutely blown away by how Ann commanded the room. She knew right then and there she had to work for her.

Despite the pride that comes with being a 6th generation Texan, Alyssa was thrilled to stake her claim here at Zehnder in New Orleans, first as a Public Relations Coordinator, and now as a PR Account Executive. As the daughter of restauranteurs, thriving in a fast-paced environment is second nature to her. “I grew up in the restaurant business. My parents’ restaurant has been in Houston for 33 years, and that background definitely instilled a lot of qualities that benefit me as a PR professional today.” Nowadays she gladly lends her wide array of PR insights and talents to promoting her family’s Texas comfort food establishment.

“In my role at Zehnder, no two days are the same for me. It’s ever-changing and often unpredictable and that’s probably why I love it so much. From crafting strategic messaging and PR plans for clients, writing press releases and blog content to working with the media and influencers, my focus is getting my clients’ message to the public. I work with clients across a variety of industries, and for me, having to be well-versed in so many different subjects is a challenging, yet rewarding part of the job. It may be for the financial sector, healthcare, food and beverage, events or nonprofits. Every day is exciting and I’m really proud of the work we do.”

A champion for her clients and a true asset to the agency, we’re delighted to call Alyssa part of our family!
