Origin Bank Zehnder Case Study
Relying on creative campaign concepts and strategy, we produced a website that reflected the brand’s personality and invited users to visit the website and feel free to explore — in a welcoming way similar to how they would be treated at an actual Origin Bank branch. The website, which is still live today, features prominent placement of content marketing pieces such as blog posts, promotion of featured products and services, and an easy-to-access online banking login platform.
The website’s intuitive navigation is separated to create specific user pathways for the client’s three core audiences: personal customers, small business owners, and corporate business owners. Each of these menu items includes dedicated landing pages as a “starting point” for each audience and sub-navigation items, allowing users to quickly see the bank’s range of products and services and locate what they’re looking for. High-level links offer quick access to must-have information like recovering lost/stolen cards, branch locations, bank hours, and contact information.
Zehnder developed a blog for the bank website and maintains a monthly content marketing calendar. Our creative and digital teams work with the client to draft relevant educational topics to discuss on the blog — such as financial tips for first-time homebuyers and business advice for small business owners. Zehnder produces the copy and images for all blog posts, making sure that we deliver fresh, relatable content to the client’s core audiences every month. We conduct interviews with key Origin staff members to inform each content piece and include relevant keywords as part of our larger SEO efforts.
We help Origin Bank stay at the top of search engine results pages through regularly updating web content, meta information, and URLs to ensure that they include relevant keywords and key phrases for SEO. We’ve optimized the site’s structure and layout for logical navigation and efficient load times, removed broken links and cases of duplicate copy, and ensured that the site is ADA-compliant. We also recently worked with the client to secure the Origin.bank domain, putting the Origin brand at the forefront of financial industry tech trends.
