NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Zehnder Communications, a fully integrated advertising and public relations firm with offices in Tennessee and Louisiana, has named Henry Chassaignac president. He will also serve as executive creative director.
The new structure will help the company continue its growth in recent years, especially in the Nashville market. Chassaignac will be responsible for the agency’s overall product, along with integrating the agency’s multiple disciplines and making them available to clients of all sizes.
A New Orleans native, Chassaignac earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama in 1990. He joined Zehnder’s New Orleans office in 1999 as senior copywriter before moving to Nashville in 2005 and forming his own boutique agency. In rejoining Zehnder in 2010 as creative director, Chassaignac opened the agency’s Nashville office, which now has nine employees and a growing list of local clients with regional and national operations.
“Henry has more than 25 years of invaluable experience in the advertising industry. By promoting him to president, his experience benefits the entire agency,” says Jeff Zehnder. “It also demonstrates our strong commitment to Nashville, which represents a major market for us.”
With Zehnder, Chassaignac has worked with top brands, including Fireball Whisky, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Farmers Insurance, Louisiana Tourism, and Visit South Walton in Florida. Before joining Zehnder, he worked with numerous national brands like Jimmy Dean Sausage, Dish Network, and Wrangler Jeans. He also worked with the Great American Country and Country Music Television networks, as well as legendary musician Peter Frampton.
Throughout his career, Chassaignac has garnered a host of professional honors, including national awards from the American Advertising Federation.
“My goal is increasing Zehnder’s collaboration and making all our divisions more accessible to clients,” Chassaignac says. “I’ll work to develop and help manage larger pieces of business regionally, nationally and internationally.”
